Over my education, I made it a habit to upload all of my early on C++, Java projects to GitHub.
Most of my C++ projects are on my Github repository and a lot of my Java which I won't upload due to the more advanced and extensive projects being under copyright protection.
C++ I feel very comfortable and enjoyed learning C++. I learned and implemented concepts such as Multi-Dimensional Arrays, FileIO, Classes, Sorts, Loops.
All of which are up to date in my repository.
Java was a very fun language to learn. The projects I've made most recently have paled in comparison to what's on my Github (which is most of my Java 1 course projects).
- Made a comprehensive LinkedIn repository on a local machine using FileIO, Serialization/Deserialization, Maps, Sets, Lists, Generics, Encapsulation, Interfaces, Exceptions, Apache CLI.
- Created a parts manager database that serializes/deserializes from gson files utilizing concepts listed above.
MS Access:
Introduction to relational databases using MS Access.
- Created a fully working relational database in which I had to make 7 linked tables with different constraints and requirements.
SQL:
Expanded upon previous knowledge of my Database Management class. Had a great professor which made it very enjoyable to learn.
- Created a comprehensive movie rental database with MySQL for my midterm project and had to further expand upon it for the final project. The project involved designing and implementing the database schema, writing various SQL queries and presenting the project to the class.
- Web Portfolio: Independently developed a personal web portfolio outside of class requirements. In addition to this one.
- Pizza Restaurant Website: Created a full functional pizza restaurant website with success/error ordering for web development class on local host using Visual Studio Code.
